Dealing With Anxiety - EddieHi, my name is Eddie Falconer, and i am the owner of this site. I can still remember very clearly the first time my anxiety disorder reared it’s head and turned my life upside down.

I was camping with friends, while on a summer break from university, when i woke up in the middle of the night experiencing a full blown panic attack. It was a very scary experience, as i did not know what was happening to me, i thought i was having a heart attack!

It turned out to be the first of many panic attacks i was to suffer over the following years. When i saw my local doctor about it, i was put on medication to manage my symptoms.

A long period followed in my life that was characterised by feelings of depression and hopelessness as i watched my life gradually pass me by, while i was stuck in my own private hell. Constantly dealing with anxiety disorder had become a way of life for me.

I could see that if i carried on as i was, i would never have my life back again, so i started to search for a real solution to my problems. This meant dealing with anxiety without medication.

I read many books and tried a few different treatment programs before i finally found something that worked for me, and helped me to put my anxiety disorder into the past for good.

I’m living proof that this condition can be overcome, and you can move your life forward into a happy future. But i know how hard it can be when you are living with an anxiety disorder.

When you are dealing with anxiety attacks it can have a bad effect on many areas of your life and often the people around you don’t understand what you are going through.

In addition, when you first start experiencing problems you often don’t understand what is really happening to you either, or how you can ever make it stop.
